Mineral stone set for the Aqualine 5 and AQV 5 water filter systems.
The set contains a total of approximately 550 grams of Elvan mineral stones and approximately 200 grams of silver-impregnated mineral stones. This ensures balanced operation within the filter system.
For optimal operation, it is recommended to replace the mineral stones after approximately 3 years.
How does it work?
The Elvan mineral stones
During the extensive filtering process, some of the minerals are filtered out of the water. In the bottom tank are Elvan mineral stones. These are a special volcanic rock found in only a few places on Earth. The Elvan stones in the Aqualine systems come from South Korea. These porous stones contain 18 different minerals that are slowly released into the filtered water. The amounts released are comparable to the minerals found in natural water. Some of these Elvan stones are impregnated with silver, which prevents bacterial action in stagnant water. This keeps the water fresh for weeks.
