Annual filter set Aqualine Neos

This set consists of a ceramic filter and a multi-stage filter. Choose between a pH-neutral or alkaline (Redox) multi-stage filter. This set should be replaced annually.

Note: If you filter less than 2000 liters of water in a year, you should replace the filters sooner. (For example, if you filter an average of 10 liters of water per day, you replace the filters after 200 days).

How does it work?

1. The ceramic filter
   This filter is located in the filling tank and has a fineness of 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm). It removes bacteria and undissolved calcium and magnesium particles, among other things. The water then slowly drips through to the multi-stage filter.
2. The multi-stage filter
   The Redox filter (alkaline) consists of activated carbon, magnesium, and bio-ceramic balls. This filters chemicals, heavy metals, chlorine, pesticides, hormone, and medicine residues from the water, among other things.
   
   The pH-neutral filter does not contain magnesium or bio-ceramic balls and delivers water with a pH of approximately 7.3. At the top of the filter is the IER filter (Ion Exchange Resin) with ion exchange resin.
3. Making the water alkaline with the Redox filter
   In the alkaline version, extra magnesium and bio-ceramic balls are added. This increases the pH value by an average of 1–1.5 pH points. In addition, the Redox filter lowers the ORP value, which provides an antioxidant effect.
