Description

The Aqualine 5 water filter - ABS has an ABS collection tank of 5 liters. You can choose between an alkaline or pH neutral water filter. With the alkaline version (surcharge of € 10.00) the pH of the filtered water is increased by 1-1.5 pH points to slightly alkaline water. With the non-alkaline system the filtered water becomes pH neutral around 7.3. The Aqualine 5 is an ideal water filter for 1 to 2 person households to drink water daily and to make coffee and tea with.

How does the Aqualine 5 water filter work?

1. The ceramic filter
   This is in the filling tank and has a fineness of 0.2 micron (0.0002 mm). With this pre-filter you already remove a large part of the pollution from the water including bacteria, undissolved calcium and magnesium particles. The water slowly passes through the filter and then drips into the multi-step filter.
2. The multi-step filter
   1st layer:
   High quality, silver impregnated, activated carbon type 30X60 with high absorption.
   
   2nd layer:
   Zeolite balls. Environmentally friendly balls with a high adsorption value, filters chlorine compounds such as trihalomethane from the water and various heavy metals, makes the water softer.
   
   3rd layer:
   Silica and combi balls. The balls are a combination of various substances including Tourmaline, Zeolite and Kaolin. They have a redox function and an antibacterial effect.
   
   4th layer:
   Illite combi balls. Emits a far infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers. This frequency vibrates at the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, stimulates and increases micro blood circulation. They soften the water to a pH of approximately 7.5. They also have an antibacterial effect.
3. Make the water alkaline/basic with the pH ring
   If you choose the alkaline version (surcharge of € 10.00) a pH ring is included. This ring is filled with magnetite balls, tourmaline balls, alkaline balls and magnesium balls. The ring increases the pH value of the filtered water by an average of 1 - 1.5 pH points to slightly alkaline water. How high the pH of the water exactly depends on your tap water. Furthermore, the pH ring lowers the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) value, which gives the water an antioxidant effect.
4. Mineralize the water
   During the extensive filtering process, some of the minerals are filtered out of the water. In the lower tank are Elvan mineral stones. A special volcanic rock that only occurs in a few places on our planet. The Elvan stones in the Aqualine systems come from South Korea. These porous stones contain 18 different minerals that are slowly released into the filtered water. The quantities that are released are comparable to the minerals that are found in natural water. Some of these Elvan stones are impregnated with silver. As a result, no bacterial activity can take place in the stagnant water. The water can therefore be kept for weeks.
5. Vitalizing the water
   Vitalisation is a special process in which nature is imitated. Water in nature will never move in a straight line like our drinking water is pumped through pipes. The water in nature hits a stone or another unevenness in the river, falls down a waterfall or is pushed through a bend. The water is brought into a vortex in which the water molecules (H2O) are given a beautiful structure by means of hydrogen bridges. The magnetic tap contains 4 different magnets of 1200 Gauss. The plus and minus of these magnets are alternately located. This creates a vortex as it also happens in nature. The magnetic effect creates smaller clusters of the water molecules. Furthermore, any electromagnet pollution in the water is neutralised.

Maintenance

An Aqualine water filter requires little maintenance. The filters should be replaced once a year, the mineral stones should be replaced after three years.
You also don't have to worry about bacteria in the water. Some of the mineral stones are impregnated with silver, which prevents bacteria from forming.
